Philippe van der Beck Speaker Bio

Philippe van der Beck is a PhD Student at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne and the Swiss Finance Institute. His research lies at the intersection of empirical and theoretical asset pricing with a focus on demand-based asset pricing and the inelasticity of financial markets. He obtained his Masters Degree from Imperial College London where he received the Nigel Meade Quantitative Finance Prize, the Unigestion Investment Prize and the Brilliant Minds Scholarship. Previously he studied Economics at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich where he received the Alumni Award for Young Economists.
